ABOUT US

Purton Football Club was established in 1924 in Purton, Wiltshire. We are a local club with a long history, which plays a vital role in the Purton community, providing a place for people to connect through football.

Purton Youth Football Club is an important feeder for the overall success of our club, and both are an important pillar of the local village life.

Purton FC is run by a group of volunteers, who dedicate their time and effort for the love of the sport, and their contributions are vital to the local village and the development of grassroots football. This ranges from our club committee to our coaches.

You will find our teams (Men’s First Team, Men’s Development Team, Men’s Sunday Team and Women’s First Team) playing at The Redhouse in Purton on our full-size pitch, as well as our U14’s Girls Team who currently play at Mannington Recreation Ground in Swindon. In the winter months each team trains at alternative locations throughout Swindon with training days and times differing between squads – please contact the relevant coach for details.
